End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are well known in the material handling business for their great flexibility. These machinery have superior performance characteristics which are somewhat like sit-down electric lift truck units.
These forklift units are ideal for warehouse settings that have limited space. The space needed to use these equipment are less than the three-wheel electric lift truck truck needs. These machinery are an ideal choice for applications that need frequent off and on access, since their stand-up design is an excellent characteristic.
A lot of companies utilized a reach truck to maintain their storage facilities. These loading machines could arrange finished goods on pallets and materials to be stacked or stored into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides safe and easy retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent option for those who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not require yet in a safe and efficient way.
The basic reach truck model is equipped with an out-rigging mechanism located on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping blades that move up and down are mounted to the out-rigging. The forks also have a hydraulic setup which enables the operator to lift the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This particular design not only gives more balance to the overall load, but makes it very easy for the reach truck to maneuver into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
When the designated shelf has been identified, the hydraulic forks swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into place. Usually, a reach truck would easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet across with no trouble, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
