Articulating Booms - Electric and Bi-Energy
Terex provides Genie DC and Bi-Energy machines which are emission-free and provide quiet operation for the most sensitive work applications. Like for example, in industrial settings where the machinery needs to travel large distances, the Genie bi-energy system combines the versatility and advantages of a diesel fueled generator with a 48 Volt DC machine.
Key features which this combination provides is over, out and up positioning capabilities for complete versatility. Moreover, the zero tail-swing offered by most models, combined with the tight turning radius provides easy maneuvering through standard doors and narrow aisles.
The proportional and drive controls offer the equipment with precise boom positioning and smooth drive performance. For emission free and quiet operation suitable for sensitive settings, there is a 48V DC electric drive system. There are jib boom models on the market to function with an additional working range for particular jobs. On non-jib models, there is a self-leveling platform that rotates 90 degrees to either side.
Articulating Booms - Diesel Engine
Genie machinery by Terex are ideal for both indoor and outdoor construction applications. This particular model offers engine-powered articulating Z booms which combine over, up and out positioning capabilities and extreme lifting versatility overall. The outreach provided by this type is second to none in the market.
The diesel engines with articulating booms offer zero tail-swing on most models and have a tight turning radius. These equipment are ideal for maneuvering in confined locations. Furthermore, they offer excellent torque, grade and terrain maneuverability and supreme power. The diesel engines are generally quiet too. The majority of models have full time drive positive drive traction system and active oscillating axle to offer great flexibility on rough and uneven surfaces.
High ground clearance is provided in 4 or 2 wheel drive models, while the rough terrain models are desirable for any company's fleet. The jib boom models are available and provide added range capabilities. On non-jib types, the self-leveling platform also rotates to ninety degrees on these models too.
