Narrow Aisle Forklift
Designed to both lift and lower loaded pallets from storage areas which are high is a narrow aisle forklift. This model is recommended for work environments with narrow spaces between aisles, like for example warehouses or retail environments. The forklift has small, solid rubber tires which make maneuvering easy.

Generally, the operator of this particular type of forklift stands up inside a small cockpit. The stand-up design enables the narrow aisle forklift to be as short and narrow as possible. A stand-up cockpit forklift usually has three tires: one in the rear, and two in the front. This configuration enables for fast and easy maneuvering. There are some versions of these forklifts which come with a sit-down cockpit. The lift attachment is capable of pivoting to the sides, allowing the lift to be operated without the operator having to move the whole machine. The sit-down version usually has four wheels.

An electric engine is used to power many narrow aisle forklifts. Machines that are electrically powered do not produce exhaust fumes and are not noisy, making them the suitable option for closed places like for instance retail spaces. Several lifts come with a diesel engine or a gas engine. Nonetheless, the diesel version is not recommended to be utilized indoors since it could produce exhaust and be noisy.
