Telescopic lift trucks
Telescopic forklift models are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck offering versatility and great height. The crane, or arm, is referred to as a telescopic boom. The boom allows the operator to lift the load to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Regular lift trucks aren't able to move the cargo away from and towards the forklift cab, while a telescopic forklift could allow that movement. The telescopic forklift is usually used in both agriculture and construction. It is better for applications where greater lift and control is needed.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are better in cases requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that enable the operator to utilize uniform clamping force when lifting a load. It is available with a backrest that protects the cargo from damage.
A sleep sheet lift truck would often use a slip sheet attachment for storing systems that don't use pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forklift forks. This type of system is handy for intra-corporate deliveries and for overseas shipments.
A lift platform which is meant to lift staff is referred to as a Man Basket. It attaches to the forks on the forklift and a strap or chain is utilized to attach the basket to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the workers from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the worker's safety harness.
