Forklift Battery Safety

Near the charging area must be an emergency eyewash post. The path to the station must not be blocked and a worker who is injured should be able to go to the eyewash station from the charging place within 10 seconds without running.
Charger Safety
The charger should be the same amperage as the battery. It should be turned off while the battery is being plugged in.
Open Flames
