Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production ever since the year 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more precise placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system offers a lot more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer various optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you complete your needs, while being efficient and safe at the worksite. If accuracy and precision are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you require.
The Future
In order to make rough terrain lift trucks as functional as possible, many attachments have been designed and developed like booms, winches, and rotating fork carriages, to allow the forklift to position materials more accurately. The booms or articulating booms come with 2 different extendible arms and can reach up and over structures so as to position loads on interior roof slope settings or in the center of upper floors. New products and attachments are being engineered and developed all the time and will be available in the future.
Lots of improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. For example, load-reach management devices could restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled rather than depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are used in order to determine the load weight. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The boom's memory will compare the extension and the angle of the boom with the safety limits, when the load is being placed into position. There is a warning system or an important lock-up device that prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
