In the US marketplace, SMAG/Peiner has been represented by Peiner USA, Inc. Various businesses like for instance Steel Mills, Waste to Energy, Scrap Handling, Bulk Transfer Facilities and many other material handling facilities are now using our buckets and grabs to get their tasks done.
The design philosophy at Peiner has continually revolved around delivering grabs that handle the largest volume of material versus grab dead weight. The typical handling ratio for Peiner buckets and grabs is roughly 60/40, meaning material dead weight of 60 percent versus grab dead weight of 40 percent. This means transporting more quantities of materials faster. There is less wear and tear on the structure of the crane and its related components. By combining innovative design and high quality materials with manufacturing, the desirable weight ratio is attained.
In order to suit the specific needs of our customer's individual needs, grab sizes vary from less than 1 cubic yard to over fifty cubic yards. Additionally, Peiner USA Inc. offers a complete spare parts facility and service facility for the units sold within the USA, as well as the addition of brand new buckets and grabs.
